Dangerous goods

Our company basically carries out sea transportations of dangerous cargoes (by ferries through port in Kiel, Germany)

Dangerous cargoes are such substances and materials which are dangerous to people, live organisms, property and environment at transportations. Flammable, corroding, radioactive, oxidizing, explosive, toxic and pathogenic materials concern dangerous cargoes.

The international transportation of dangerous cargoes is strictly regulated process: loading, storage, marks, the documentation etc. The International transportation of dangerous cargoes can be carried out only with the permission of shipping company. The consignor is obliged to give the necessary documentation (the IMO declaration) in a navigable line on approval. International transportation of dangerous cargo (import or export of dangerous cargo) process more labor-consuming and expensive in comparison with transportations of harmless cargoes. The consignor completely is responsible for trustworthy information granting in a line: cargo classification, identification, reliability of a class of danger of cargo. Some cargoes demands the special equipment.
